The terrible news on the demise of chairman of Yeni Azerbaijan Party, President Heydar Aliyev has caused profound pain in the hearts of Azerbaijanis residing in Primoskiy territory. It is hard to believe that he is not among us. We, the Azerbaijanis, bow our heads to our Heydar Aliyevich. He was an outstanding man, strong world scale politician, and genuine patriot of Azerbaijan.

We are proud that in the epoch of upheavals and ordeal he was together with his people. He did not allow escalating wars in the Transcaucasia whereby he saved the lives of thousands of compatriots. Heydar Aliyev’s services are also great to our free homeland: independence of Azerbaijan, stability within the country, and prestige of the state in the international arena.

We extend our deep and sincere condolences to esteemed President of Azerbaijan, son and successor of Heydar Aliyev – Ilham Heydarovich Aliyev, his relatives. We share a great sorrow they are suffering now. The eternal memory of Heydar Aliyev will remain in our hearts. May Allah rest his soul in peace!
