The members of the Association of Canadian Azerbaijanis are deeply grieved to learn of the death of highly respected Heydar Aliyev.
Heydar Aliyev remains in our hearts and memories as a man of wisdom, titanic will and great kindness, towards Azerbaijani people. We certain that his enormous contribution to the development of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be fondly remembered, and the initiatives he began will continue to develop in his absence. Heydar Aliyev will always be remembered as a man of tremendous energy and exceptional abilities.
Dear Mr. President, we ask you to accept our most deeply felt condolences, and we share in your grief at this tragic loss. We are deeply grieved and truly understood that Azerbaijan has lost one of the greatest sons in its history.
