PRESS SERVICE OF PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN REPORTS
A sitting of the Security Council presided by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was held on 8 July 2003. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev made opening remarks. The sitting participants discussed socio-political situation in the Republic and other issues related to the development of economy. Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Murtuz Alasgarov, head of the President Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev and other members of the Security Council spoke of the issues in hand. Heads of the law-enforcement bodies delivered reports. Summing up the meeting, President Heydar Aliyev dwelt on the related tasks, gave certain instructions and recommendations.
