On the eve when Azerbaijan under You leadership enters new period, I hope that Your country will continue its development in the direction of firm democracy, economic welfare and civil society.
As You know, regional stability, energy sources, safety and branching of the export routes in the South Caucasus region and Caspian have great importance for Your country, Your neighbors and the entire world. During Your lecture at the US-Azerbaijan Trade and Commercial Chamber, I with satisfaction noted expansion and deepening of the US-Azerbaijan cooperation in all spheres. I consider Azerbaijan as close friend of the United States and continue my efforts for support of market economy, democratic reforms.
I also attach a hope for closer cooperation with the Milli Majlis and consider that these links are means that will much more widen co-op between the two countries. Sure, strengthening of the ties between the two legislative bodies, we will exert positive impact on the US-Azerbaijan relations.
