PRIME MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV MET WITH INTELLECTUALS
The meeting was opened by academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, director of the Geology Institute Mr. Akif Alizade.
Speaking was at the meeting, chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers Union, People’s Writer, MP Anar, president of the NAS, academician Mahmud Karimov, Secretary of the Composers Union, People’s Artist, professor Vasif Adigozalov, People’s Writer Magsud Ibrahimbayov, Chairman of the Artists Union, People’s Artist Farhad Khalilov, professor Azer Pasha Nematov, People’s Artist Azer Rzayev, president of the Union of Cinematographers, People’s Artist Eldar Guliyev, Director General of the Russian Drama Theater, People’s Artist Alexander Sharovsky, actor of the National Drama Theater, People’s Artist Basti Jafarova, who stated that intellectuals of Azerbaijan would support political course of Heydar Aliyev. Continuation of this course is necessary for future of the people of Azerbaijan and the intellectuals would demonstrate their civil position in the coming elections.
The orators wished success to Ilham Aliyev in his activity for happy future of Azerbaijan.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev stated that he would not spare his ability and strength to continue the political course of head of the Azerbaijani state.
Head of the President Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev, First Deputy Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Members of Parliament and other officials participated at the meeting.
