Permit me to extend to You my sincere felicitations on behalf of the staff of BP Company with the election to the post of President of Azerbaijan Republic in the crucial period for development of your country. I am convinced that You will adhere the heritage of Your father, try to ensure the rising trust in transparent, responsible and democratic government in conformity with international justice norms and commercial laws.
At the same time, I am certain that You will continue your efforts in the direction of maintenance on stability and realization of establishment of the peaceful links with the neighboring counties. I have no doubt that Your international experience and adherence to international cooperation will increase attractiveness of your country for direct foreign investments and thus, strengthen the future economic development and welfare of your people.
We are witnesses of Your father’s successful policy and as a result, in the coming several years Azerbaijan will acquire the increasing oil and gas revenues. I know that You support successive governmental reforms, creation of bureaucracy-and interference-free business environment, necessity of ensuring efficient use of profits to set favorable conditions for all-round economy, realization of these works.
I impatiently wait continuation of our close cooperation and hope for our assistance to You and your government in use of the energy resources of Azerbaijan for the welfare of the people.
