I am pleased to congratulate You on the appointment to the high post of the Head of the Government of Azerbaijan. Knowing you personally, Your energy and purposefulness, I want to express my confidence that holding this post You will manage to do a great deal for the welfare of your country and people, as well as in the interests of development of Azerbaijan’s co-operation with Russia.
I wish every success in realization of the high mission You have been entrusted with.
I hope as well Your working experience in international structures, particularly, in such a laborious organization as the Council of Europe, will foster Your state activity.
I dare suppose that despite the obvious pressure of problems of the national economy and domestic issues, You will continue to focus on the international issues, including activities of the European structures which have considerable impact on the vitally important interests of our countries.
