RESULTING SITTING OF III FORUM OF AZERBAIJANI YOUTH

The role of youth in building of democratic and legal state in the Independent Republic of Azerbaijan is chiefly highlighted. President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev set a problem on advancement of Azerbaijani youth up to the level of up-to-date requirements, active involvement of the youth in the building of independent, democratic and legal state. These are what the Azerbaijani youth forum was focused on. The resulting forum of Azerbaijani youth took place at the Baku Sports Palace on October 13. The sitting was attended by representatives of all the districts and cites of Azerbaijan, executives of the Executive Office of the President, Milli Majlis, Cabinet of Ministers, Ministries and committees.

The sitting was opened by Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev.

Chief of the Humanitarian Policy Department of the Executive Office of the President Fatma Abdullahzadeh read out a President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev’s congratulation letter to the forum participants.

Then, Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev, and chairman of the National Council of Youth Organizations Ekrem Abdullayev delivered reports.

The reports were assessed by member of the Board of the Open Azerbaijan Public Fund Elnur Aslanov, the third year student of the Economic University Sevinj Masiyeva, chief of the Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Nakhchivan AR Shukur Babayev, Milli Majlis deputy Anar Akhundzadeh, deputy Entrepreneurs Council under the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mikail Jabbarov, chief of the Baku Main Sports Department Mammadhuseyn Dadashev, winner of the junior European judo championship Nigar Jabbarova, chairman of the Public Association of the Enlightenment of Youth and Demobilized Militaries Emin Guliyev, fifth year student of the Azerbaijan Medical University Naiba Hasanova, Youth Relief Fund president Nedim Kaya, representative of the IDPs and Refugees Youth Organization Gunel Aliyeva, chief of the Ganja Youth, Sports and Tourism branch Jumali Rahimov, chairman of the Young Economists Association Azer Amiraslanov, 11th class schoolgirl, shahid’s daughter Khaver Ramazanova.

The reports and addresses were mainly dedicated to youth policy of Azerbaijan, actions taken towards the overall youth development, their active participation in the building of the new society in Azerbaijan.

Speakers stressed that Azerbaijani youth supports President Heydar Aliyev’s political course and succession of this policy is necessary for the sake of future of Azerbaijani nation. The youth will vote for the happy future of their homeland.

The sitting was concluded by reading out the resolution of the III Azerbaijani youth forum and adopting the address to the youth of Azerbaijan and world as a whole.
