RUSSIA, IRAN TO COOPATE FOR INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
This was stated by Vyacheslav Trubnikov, first deputy foreign minister of the Russian Federation at the Russia-Iran consultations on international security issues held in Tehran.
The Tehran talks focused issues of the Russian-Iran cooperation in combat against international terrorism and narcotics circulation, in bilateral, regional and global levels. The parties also had exchange of views on the situation in Afghanistan, Iraq and Caspian basin, touched upon the problems in the Central Asia and South Caucasus.
