Russian-Azerbaijani interregional forum due in Astrakhan
Baku, May 16 (AZERTAC). Russian-Azerbaijani interregional forum will take place in Astrakhan, on May 18-19.
Azerbaijani delegation will be led by chief of socio-political department of Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov.
The aim of the forum is to expand relations between the two countries in economy, science, humanitarian and socio-political spheres.
The event will bring together representatives from presidential administrations of Azerbaijan and Russia, parliaments, scientific and educational structures, business circles and mass media.
The `roundtables` on the subjects “Infrastructural projects in interregional cooperation of Russia and Azerbaijan”, “Cooperation of Russia and Azerbaijan in humanitarian and socio-political spheres: problems and prospects”, “Strategic cooperation of Russia and Azerbaijan in the Caspian region” will take place as a part of the forum.
The forum also includes opening of the national leader Heydar Aliyev`s park, industrial innovations exhibition and groundbreaking ceremony of Azerbaijani-Russian friendship bridge.
A final declaration on expanding of interregional cooperation is expected to be adopted during the forum.
