RUSSIAN TOUGHENS FIGHT AGAINST ILLEGAL MIGRATION
President of Russia stands for introduction of order in illegal migration in the Russian Federation. At the sitting of the collegiums of the Federal Security Service the Head of the Russian State urged Russian special services to curb the illegal migration in Russia. According to the President, the problem of illegal migration in Russia turned into the most urgent point. Although, Russia is in need of manpower resources inflow, however, it is necessary to direct the labor migration to proper places. President of Russia noted that illegal migration worsens the criminal situation in certain regions and becomes the milieu for offences.
A new law “On foreign citizens” was adopted last year. Federal Migration Service was given under jurisdiction of the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation. It will help to actively fight illegal migration.
The problem of migration touches the interests of the Azerbaijani Diaspora that works in Moscow or citizens temporarily residing in Russia. “Center of Legal Protection” established under the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress helps people to receive documents for legal residence. Skilled lawyers consult them and protect their rights in courts.
