A scientific-practical conference entitled “Trade Union and Youth” has taken place in the Republican committee of the Trade Union of Culture workers.

Chairman Jamila Sattarova reported on the measures taken by the state since 1993 to ensure the overall development of the youth, their active participation in the society’s activities. She noted that these arrangements cover education, health, intellectual and spiritual development, leisure, protection of rights, participation in the socio-political life of Azerbaijan etc.

The report also stipulated targets set to trade unions of Azerbaijan to successfully pursue the youth policy.
