A sitting of Defense Ministries of the Commonwealth of the Independent States also attended by Defense Minister of Azerbaijan colonel general Safar Abiyev took place in Moscow on December 10.

AzerTAj Moscow-based correspondent has leant from the Council of CIS Defense Ministers that about 20 issues were considered. Thus, CIS Defense Ministers approved a plan of joint actions of the united anti-aircraft defense system for 2004, considered the realization of the single conception of geo-information base of climatic data, rule of climatic hydrometeorology descriptions of the region among relevant services. In addition, results of the activity in 2003 were analyzed and cooperation outlooks were set.
