SQUAD FOR GOLDEN WRESTLING GRAND PRIX NAMED

Senior coaches Aslan Agayev and Elchin Jafarov have named the squad for the free-style and Greco-Roman wrestling Golden Grand Prix to be held June 23-25 at the Heydar Aliyev Sport and Concert Complex.

The national free-style team comprised of Namig Sevdimov (55 kg), Vusal Aliyev (60 kg), Elman Asgarov (66 kg), Elnur Aslanov (74 kg), Haji Alijanov (84 kg), Eldar Atakishiyev (96 kg) and Khizir Durgayev (120 kg) is now in the training camp at the Ganja Olympic Sport Complex.

The national Greco-Roman wrestling team comprised of Rovshan Bayramov (55 kg), Javid Abdullayev (55 kg), Vitali Rahimov (60 kg), Fuad Aliyev (60 kg), Elbrus Mammadov (66 kg), Ilgar Abdulov (74 kg) and Elvin Mursaliyev (74 kg) is now training at the T. Bahramov Republican Stadium.

Khanmirza Melikaliyev, Hijran Sharifov and Garib Aliyev will be among international referees officiating at the Grand Prix.
