STATE COMMITTEE ON SECURITIES PREPARING NEW BILL ON INVESTMENT FUNDS

“While it has been five years since law on investment funds was adopted, no fund has been set up yet,” chairman of the State Committee on Securities Gunduz Mammadov told AZERTAG correspondent.

To this end, committee is working on a new draft law to be presented to the Milli Majlis. The bill will include some amendments liberalizing the investment funds’ operation. There should not be any legal impediments for the investment funds to operate. The committee will also propose to change organizational and legal form of the investment funds.
