Tbilisi International Airport to change flights schedule
Tbilisi, March 1, AZERTAC
Under the agreement signed by the Georgian Airports Association and TAV Urban Georgia the runway rehabilitation works are underway at the Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport.
The reconstruction works are being carried out by Black Sea Group. At this stage the asphalt surface is being laid in the Alpha Zone.
Because of the reconstruction works Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport runway (31L/13R) will be closed for any airplane in the following time: From March 1, 2016 to March 27 - from 09.30 to 15:00. From March 1 to July 1 - from 10:00 to 20:00.
Despite the reconstruction works, airline will continue regular flights under revised schedule. 20:00.
After the completion of the rehabilitation works Tbilisi International Airport will have renovated and modernized runway with pathways and it will be equipped with international standard lighting and technical equipment.
