THE SECOND DAY OF THE CONGRESS TO DEAL WITH AZERBAIJAN
It is expected that well-known political figures and public officials of USA and Turkey, including Turkish Prime-Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a number of Ministers and deputies, as well as representatives of the US Congress and representatives of Azerbaijani and Jewish Diasporas functioning in America and Canada.
In the course of the congress, Head of the Socio-political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov is expected to read out a letter of greetings from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. In addition, the Azerbaijani delegation plans to meet in Washington D.C. with heads of a number of authoritative Jewish organization and U.S. Congressmen.
Reportedly, the second day of the congress will be entirely dealing with Azerbaijan. On the first half of the day a round table discussion “Place of Today’s Azerbaijan in the World: prospects of development.”; on the second half the congress participants will exchange views on “Turkish language and the single alphabet of the Turkish World.”
A commemoration ceremony for the nationwide leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev is scheduled to be held on the 1st of February in New-York.
