TOURIST COMPANIES RECEIVED LICENSES

For the recent two weeks, five more tourist companies have received licenses of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism for performing their activities in Azerbaijan.Offices of the newly registered tourist operators, ‘Elvin’, ‘Asiman’, ‘Absheron-tour’, ‘Fizuli’, ‘InterOPA Tourism ve Sayahat Ltd. Azerbaijan’, are situated in the capital, the Chief Tourism Council reports. However, local businesspersons in regions show interest towards the tourist business. According to the information of the Tourism Council, for recent 2 years, the number of companies engaged in the tourist business increased by 4 times. Some 91 tourist companies are currently operating in Azerbaijan. The price of a five-year license comes to 2 million 750 thousand manats.
