TRADE UNIONS MEET IN BAKU
As stated, Mr. Mehbaliyev greeting secretary of the Federation of trade unions of the employees of chemical and energy industry of France (FCECFDT) Silvain Lefebr, head of the department of international links of the Federation of trade unions of mining, chemical and energy industry of Germany (IGBCE) Manfred Vardan and responsible collaborator of the Turkish Company “Lastik-Ish” Kamal Ozkan, highlighted the guests on the measures realized in the system of trade unions of Azerbaijan to improve trade union activity in the Republic and protection of labor, socio-economic rights of the workers, on the current economic and political situation in the country, emphasized the necessity of overseas links in the present time. Noting special importance of the trade unions, he stressed necessity of continuation of work in this field.
Chairman of Confederation spoke of the Nagonro Karabakh problem, in which interested were the guests, on the aggressive policy of Armenia, on plight of refugees ousted from their homelands, on the assistance rendered to them by trade union of Azerbaijan, and stressed the significance of objective ties of the international organizations to this question.
On behalf of the representatives, expressing gratitude to the ACTU, S. Mehbaliyev, for warm reception, secretary of the Federation of trade unions of the employees of chemical and energy industry of France (FCECFDT) Silvain Lefebr spoke of the co-op with the functioning in Azerbaijan appropriate field trade unions and importance of regular exchange in this field.
