Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG announces two new invitations to tender

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) has issued two new invitations to Tender (ITT).
The first is for the engineering, procurement and installation of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), telecommunications and security systems. The SCADA system will provide integrated and centralised continuous monitoring and control along the entire 878-kilometre gas transportation system. The second is for the supply and delivery of approximately 1,550 kilometres fibre optic cable.
TAP will transport natural gas from the giant Shah Deniz II field in Azerbaijan to Europe. The 878 km long pipeline will connect with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Turkish-Greek border at Kipoi, cross Greece and Albania and the Adriatic Sea, before coming ashore in Southern Italy.
