TURKEY TO LAY GARS-TBILISI RAILWAY
Turkish engineers have completed working on the preliminary project on the Gars-Tbilisi railway that will provide for the passenger and cargo transportation between Turkey and the South Caucasus countries, as well as connect with the route to Far East, Mr. Bineli Yildirim, minister of transport of Turkey told a news conference.Greater part of the railway will pass through the territory of Georgia. At words of the Minister, the government has means to finance realization of the project, but hopes that the official Tbilisi, taking into account the significance of the Project, will fund it.
