TURKISH JURIST APPLIED TO EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

The lawyer Orhan Pekmezchi residing in Kayseri city of Turkey applied to the European Court of Human Rights and called the decision made by the French parliament on “Armenian genocide” as unjust. The ECHR considered his appeal and granted to Orhan Pekmezchi a year to collect relevant evidences and documents. The lawyer called the decision of the French parliament as one-sided, political and unjust and demanded to rescind this decision and pay €171 million compensation.
