Turkish newspaper features Heydar Aliyev`s foreign policy
Ankara, May 21 (AZERTAC). Turkish Cumhurriyet newspaper has published an article “Foreign policy of a leader” by Azeri ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov.
The article says Azerbaijan has become of the world`s fastest growing economies due to the efforts of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
It stressed the great leader put an end to chaos, civil war threat and economic crisis and enabled the country`s development thanks to his experience.
The author underlined after returning to power Heydar Aliyev first normalized relations with Russia and Iran.
According to the article, the national leader built a frank dialogue with Turkey while he was chairman of Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan. For him, relations with Turkey were particularly different.
The ambassador touched upon development of cooperation with USA, Europe, Far East countries, importance of the contract of the century and 1996 OSCE Lisbon summit.
