Turkish official: We are a nation that likes to build, not destroy

“Karabakh was occupied for many years. Many historical buildings, cities and symbolic places were seriously damaged during that period. But as a Turkish nation, we have a special feature. We are a nation that likes to build, not destroy. That is why after liberation, our Azerbaijani brothers started a very fast process towards the reconstruction of Karabakh,” Turkish Deputy Minister for Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ömer Bulut told journalists.
He emphasized that he had been in Karabakh to participate in various forums and saw how reconstruction work was being carried out in the liberated areas, adding that Turkish companies were also actively involved in building infrastructure there, especially airports, roads and other facilities.
