UKRAINIAN COACH TO PREPARE AZERBAIJAN NATIONAL TEAM FOR COMPETITION
Georgiy Voronov, the former Ukrainian coach of Motor and Qalichanka teams was appointed a senior coach of Azerbaijan women’s national handball team.
According to the one-year contract, the specialist will train both the national team and ABU handball club. ABU, which are going to start the training within a couple of days, will compete in the first round matches of the professional handball league to be held in Krasnodar. The competition will also gather Dinamo (Volqoqrad), Kuban (Krasnodar), Astrakhanochka ( Astrakhan) and Luch (Moscow).
Azerbaijan national team is going to gear for the first world championship qualification round matches with Rumania, Portugal, Iceland and Italy in November.
