US DEPARTMENT OF STATE EXTENDED DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO AZERBAIJANI PEOPLE

Correspondent of AzerTAj reports from Washington: Department of State of the United States of America sent to the people of Azerbaijan condolences on the death of the nationwide leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ex-President Heydar Aliyev.

Following is the statement, whereby it is stated that Ex-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev passed away in the morning on 12 December at the Cleveland Clinic in the state of Ohio. The United States extends its deepest sympathy to President Ilham Aliyev, his family, the Government and people of Azerbaijan.
