VII CONFERENCE OF WORLD AZERBAIJANIS CONGRESS DUE IN STRASBOURG
As provided by AzerTAj State News Agency, the VII Conference of World Azerbaijanis Congress (WAC) is due early in 2004 in Strasbourg, representatives of WAC told a news conference at the International Press Center on 12 December. Discussed are expected the problems the structure faces, activation of the foreign Diaspora organizations and organizing issues. Head of the WAC press service Teymur Eminbeyli said some forces try to hamper activity of the Congress. Unfortunately, some Congress members back them.
At the news conference a direct contact was arranged with the WAC representatives residing in America, Sweden and France and the country-fellows answered questions of the media representatives.
Over 300 representatives from 30 world countries are expected to attend the conference.
