The village of Laza is located in the northeastern part of the Caucasus Mountains, at the foot of Shah Yaylag Mountain in the Shahdag range, at an altitude of 4,242 meters above sea level. The region is known for its long, snowy, and frosty winters lasting up to seven months, with temperatures sometimes dropping to minus 30 degrees Celsius.
Reaching the village requires crossing four mountain passes. Snow-covered forests, rivers, and crisp mountain air significantly enhance visitors’ moods. As one approaches the waterfall, its visual splendor captivates the senses. The frozen cascade creates a vivid and magical scene, with ice formations and frozen droplets sparkling in the sunlight like pearls.
