Best boxers from Azerbaijan, Cuba, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, the USA, Ukraine and Africa have gathered in Baku sports palace for the world championship.

Eight teams are divided into two groups for this round-robin event.

The top teams from each group will meet in final, while the runners-up will be awarded bronze medals.

In their first match of the group, Azerbaijan, who are drawn with Cuba, the USA and Kazakhstan, defeated their American rivals 9-2.
