29th meeting of Permanent Council of TURKSOY`s Culture Ministers held in Astana

Astana, 21 September (AZERTAC). The 29th meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY`s Culture Ministers has ended here.

The meeting participants discussed a wide range of issues, including deepening cooperation among TURKSOY member states in cultural and humanitarian spheres, holding events on the 20th anniversary of independence of Turkish-speaking countries, TURKSOY action plan for 2012 and preparation for the 30th meeting of the Permanent Council of the organization`s Culture Ministers.

Dusen Kaseinov was re-elected as Secretary General of TURKSOY for 2011-2014 at the meeting, while Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ertogrul Gunay as temporary coordinator.
