COVID-19: Italy registers 25,389 new cases, 112 more victims

There have been 25,389 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 112 more victims with the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday, according to ANSA.
That compares to 35,360 new cases and 134 more victims Tuesday.
Some 174,227 more tests have been done, compared to 207,701 Tuesday.
The positivity rate is down from 17% to 14.6%.
Intensive care cases are down 15 to 239 and hospital admissions down 208 to 6,170.
The currently positive are 727,812, down 24,279 on Tuesday.
The recovered and discharged are 20,818,775 (+49,555).
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 21,721,630, and the death toll 175,043.
