ALI NAGIYEV MET WITH REFUGEES AND IDPS IN ABSHERON DISTRICT

On August 27, on the eve of the new academic year, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Ali Nagiyev met with refugees and IDPs at the office of the executive power of Absheron district.

Opening the event, Head of Executive Power of Absheron district Mirza Novruzov noted the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population had been meeting with refugees and IDPs for over 4 years to help them in solving their problems. “We are pleased that refugees and IDPs, temporarily residing in Absheron district, are taken care by the Minister. Twice a year, on Novruz bayram and on the eve of the Knowledge Day, Ali Nagiyev arranges such meetings to render material aid to the people. The whole district’s public community are grateful to the Minister for such care”, - M. Novruzov said.

Head of the Executive Power of Absheron district noted that care shown to IDPs and refugees is the result of the right political course carried out by government and personally President Heydar Aliyev. M. Novruzov urged the people to actively participate in the presidential elections and expressed confidence that people of Absheron would make a right choice in favor of Heydar Aliyev’s candidacy.

Later on, having stressed the importance of the education system in the society’s formation Ali Nagiyev has noted that despite some difficulties Azerbaijani system of education has made a great leap forward. There are many newly constructed schools in the provinces, which, in his opinion, prove that President’s course is right. Ali Nagiyev has congratulated the people with the upcoming Knowledge Day.

“September 1 is a Holiday of each pupil, each parent, each genuine citizen. I am happy to say that 2353 families will get material aid to the amount of 73 million AZM. The names of 9851 residents are entered in our list. This aid is financed from internal Ministry’s fund and at the expense of employees’ voluntary contributions.

Ali Nagiyev has urged all Azerbaijan community to gather around the President and repulse the forces interested in destabilization.

“Liberation of occupied lands is possible only due to the strong army, which is being fit out and prepared by President Heydar Aliyev. The growing generation should value his works and be devoted to his course”- he stressed.
