Mingachevir Regatta 2026 kicks off in Fuzuli

The Mingachevir Regatta 2026 international tournament kicked off today at the Kondalanchay reservoir in Fuzuli.
The opening day of the tournament, co-organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Water Sports Federation, features 200-meter kayak and canoe sprint events.
The tournament will move to the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir on September 30 and October 1 for competitions across all rowing disciplines and distances.
The international regatta brings together over 100 young rowers from 12 countries, including Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
