AT CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION OF AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC
CEC Chairman also reported on registration of Huseyn Mammad oglu Pashayev as a CEC member with the right of deliberative vote and that of Shaitdin Sardar oglu Aliyev as an observer on the whole territory of the Azerbaijan Republic appointed by candidate for the Presidency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aliyev Ilham Heydar oglu. The Commission has made a positive decision on both issues.
Secretary of the Central Election Commission Vidadi Mahmudov informed the organization of the voting process in prisons. Deputy Chairman of the Commission Svetlana Gasimova gave the information on the issue, which has been taken into account.
Then, CEC has mad the decision on withdrawal of Dilbazi Bahruz Museyib oglu, the attorney of the Presidential candidate Lala Shovkat Hajiyeva and liquidation of his certificate, and appointment of Budagova Zemfira Aslan gizi.
CEC Secretary Ingilab Nasirov and member of the commission Azar Tagiyev reported on the appeals submitted to the Committee. It was decided to submit two of them to the General Prosecutor Office of Azerbaijan Republic.
The sitting was attended by representatives of the International Fund for Election Systems / IFES/, OSCE ODIHR office, National Democratic Institute, local and foreign mass media.
