AT SITTING OF MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE
Issues related to the tasks stemming from state program of the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan Republic were discussed.
Addressing the participants, acting Minister of Agriculture Irshad Aliyev noted that due to the reforms carrying out in the agrarian sector under direct initiative of President Heydar Aliyev, favorable terms for development of entrepreneurship created and forms of property changed.
The participants touched on start of the second phase of agrarian reforms in the country, creation of favorable terms for development of entrepreneurship for 2004-2008s, achievement of 10-15% of growth in agriculture, making over 60% of investments in the country etc.
The issues in detail were development of reprocessing enterprises, support in creation of agro-service network, raising attention to seed growing and livestock breeding, improvement of infrastructure in the regions, promotion in development of social objects, continuation of the program of state financial aid and others.
