Azerbaijan Ambassador to Ukraine visits library after Azeri poet
Baku, March 12 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatov along with representatives of diplomatic corps visited Kiev`s reconstructed library after prominent Azeri poet Samad Vurgun in Obolonski region on Thursday.
Eynulla Madatov laid flowers at the monument to the great Azerbaijani poet Samad Vurgun.
Director of the library Galina Kislaya informed the Ambassador, representatives of Diplomatic Corps of Azerbaijan and the Obolonski region officials on design and repair works done there.
Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Ukraine discussed bilateral cooperation relations between Garadag region of Baku and Obolonski region of Kiev with the head of regional administration Vasiliy Antonov. As known, a monument was erected to the poetess Lesia Ukrainskaya in Garadag region of Baku.
Azerbaijani Embassy was obligated to equip the library with necessary technical facilities for the purpose of expansion and deepening of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations in the cultural sphere. Azerbaijan Diplomatic Corps will hold an event dedicated to the 105th anniversary of Samad Vurgun in May.
