Azerbaijan, Jordan explore ways of cooperation

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Sabir Aghabeyov has discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as current situation in the region as he met Jordan’s Anti-Corruption Commission chief Samih Bino.
Speaking about the history of friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries, Mr. Bino praised the personal friendship of the heads of state in strengthening these ties.
Mr. Aghabeyov expressed Azerbaijan’s readiness to cooperate and highlighted the Activities of Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General and the "ASAN" service centers. The sides stressed the importance of further implementation of exchange of experience on corresponding direction.
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Ambassador noted that as a result of the conflict, there were more than one million refugees and internally displaced persons in the country.The diplomat also spoke about the problem of refugees and internally displaced persons that caused damage to the country’s economy for many years.
