AZERBAIJAN JUDOISTS TO COMPETE IN WORLD CUP
Azerbaijan judoists will compete in a number of international tournaments in early 2007. Senior coach of national team Agayar Akhundzadeh said Azerbaijan athletes will gather for a training after holidays.
Judoists will compete in men’s World Cup tournament to be held late January in Tbilisi. Azerbaijan women’s team will also participate in the Sofia international tournament. The national team has recently returned from a training camp in Kislovodsk. A. Akhundzadeh was satisfied with how 8 internationals trained.
After Tbilisi and Sofia tournaments, Azerbaijan judoists will compete in the international competitions to be held in France and Norway.
