Azerbaijan National Museum of Art wins European Museum Standard
Baku, October 8 (AZERTAC). The European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (EEIG) awarded the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art with the European Museum Standard (EuMQS) with Quality Seal for Museum certification.
Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfas Garayev addressing the award ceremony said “such a high certification is a triumph of the Azerbaijani culture.”
Rustam Mustafayev Azerbaijan State Museum of Art is the biggest art museum of Azerbaijan. The Museum houses valuable collections of Azerbaijani, European, Eastern and Russian artworks from the ancient period up to the present time. The museum consists of two buildings standing next to each other. There are over 3,000 items on display in total here.
