AZERBAIJAN RANKS FOURTH IN TERMS OF AMOUNT OF MINIMUM PENSION
Baku, January 9 (AZERTAC). As a result of weakening of national currencies against dollar, minimum pension in Russia dropped to $63, Ukraine $80, Kazakhstan $105.5. Minimum pension in Azerbaijan rose to $93.4 because manat strengthened against dollar.
Azerbaijan is fourth in the post-soviet area in terms of amount of minimum pension after Lithuania, Estonia and Kazakhstan. Minimum pension in Armenia is $22.
