Azerbaijan represented at Kiev book fair

Baku, August 17 (AZERTAC). As earlier reported, the 7th Kiev int`l book fair is underway in the capital of Ukraine on 16-18 August.

Azerbaijan is represented in the exhibition with an exposition, prepared by the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine.

The exhibition is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine and is joined by Ukrainian regions as well as Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Iran, Russia, Belarus and Poland with over a hundred of publishing houses from different countries.

The Azerbaijani stand features editions on the life and activity of national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, books about carpeting, music, activity of prominent figures, Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani history.

The editions published in Ukrainian under support of the Azerbaijani Embassy, such as the book by chief of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev “Realities of Azerbaijani Genocide”, by Yagub Mahmudlu “Azerbaijan: brief history of statehood” and others were represented in the exhibition.
