AZERBAIJAN, UKRAINE: INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION`S MEETING DUE IN MARCH 2009
Next (8th) meeting of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine intergovernmental commission on economic ties will be held in March 2009 in Kiev, AZERTAC reports referring to the Ukrainian Embassy in Baku.
The meeting is said to focus on issues of implementation of the interstate program on long-term economic cooperation in 2000-2009, cooperation of the countries in the fuel-energy complex, transport and communication, as well as partnership in trade-economic cooperation and a number of other questions.
Commission`s co-chair on the Azerbaijan side is the First Deputy Prime Minister Eyyub Guliyev, and on the Ukraine side - Deputy Prime Minister Grigori Nemirya.
