Azerbaijani-Chinese free economic and industrial town to be established in Baku

Baku, November 21, AZERTAC

Executive Authority of Garadagh district of Baku and Association of Regional Economic Cooperation of the Chinese city of Jincheng have signed a cooperation agreement on the establishment of an Azerbaijani-Chinese free economic and industrial town in Baku.

The industrial town will occupy a total area of 1,000 hectares. The project is estimated to cost AZN two billion.

Under the agreement, the industrial town will feature light and heavy industry plants, construction, high technologies, agriculture and logistics centers.
