Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s leadership visits Second Alley of Martyrs

On July 12, First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev and the leadership of the Ministry visited the Second Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of the Tovuz battles’ anniversary, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
At first, the memory of sons of the Motherland, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence, and prayers were made for their souls.
Then, the flowers were laid on the graves of martyrs, who sacrificed their lives in battles to suppress provocations committed by the Armenian armed forces in Tovuz district of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border in July 2020, and of all martyrs buried on the Alley.
