AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION MEETS WITH ITS COUNTERPARTS ONCE AGAIN

A delegation of Azerbaijan led by chief of the Traffic Department of the Ministry of Transports Javid Gurbanov once again met with a delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran on March 3 in Astara, Iran.

The sides discussed the location of the future railway bridge Astara-Astara and bridge over the Astara river along the motorway Alat-Astara. The bridges will be constructed over the Astara river at a distance of 50 meters from each other.

With respect to construction of Alat-Astara motorway, Iran is supposed to allocate $40 million credit to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijanis will also be involved in the construction along with Iranian companies.
