Azerbaijani documentary film to participate in international film festival in Russia

Baku, September 3 (AZERTAC). The documentary film "The Artist, Drawing Heart" directed by the honored worker of arts Ziya Shikhlinski will take part in XXII festival of documentary cinema "Russia" to pass in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Script writer is Togrul Juvarli, the operator is Adil Abbasov.

The film "the Artist, drawing heart" is devoted to the first vice-president of the Russian Academy of Arts, the honorable president of UNESCO concerning fine arts, the Hero of Socialist Labor, the People’s Artist of the USSR, Azerbaijan and Russia, the winner of the State Award of the USSR, Tahir Salahov.

The festival passes with financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and is held annually since 1988.

Every year in the selection commission arrives more than 300 films created in Russia and the countries of the near abroad.
