Azerbaijani FM: Armenia created obstacles for sending UNESCO mission to Karabakh
Baku, April 7, AZERTAC
“Armenia has been creating obstacles for sending a UNESCO fact-finding mission to the territory of Karabakh over the past 30 years," said Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in his video message during the opening ceremony of the 9th meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the TURKSOY Member States in Baku.
According to the minister, Armenia has continuously rejected the proposals in this regard.
The 9th meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the TURKSOY Member States is co-organized by Azerbaijan’s National Commission for UNESCO under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), ADA University and the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) of the University.
