Azerbaijani gymnast to perform new program in Rio

Azerbaijani gymnast Marina Durunda will show a completely new program at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, head coach of the national rhythmic gymnastics team Mariana Vasileva told reporters. "After the World Cup in Stuttgart, we changed all four exercises and music, changed the style of routine - in short, we have prepared a brand new program. In addition, the group changed the composition of the team. We have included Aisha Bayramova and Zeyneb Chelebi, who previously performed individually," said Vasileva.
Speaking of the 22nd Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship and Cup of Azerbaijan’s regions, she pointed out that the tournament was excellently organized and involved a record number of gymnasts - 160 athletes from 17 sports associations and clubs.
