Azerbaijani unifighters win international tournament
Baku, May 13, AZERTAC
Azerbaijan have won an international unifight tournament marking the 93rd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev held at the Hovsan Olympic Sports Complex in Baku.
Azerbaijani fighters Jumshud Mammadov in 60kg weight class, Elchin Huseynli in 65kg, Namig Mammadzade in 70kg, Aziz Azimov in 75kg, Aligismat Mammadov in 80kg, Nijat Tagiyev in 90kg, Tahir Masimov in 95kg, Yaser Rustamov in +95kg claimed gold medals.
The team topped the tournament`s overall medal table.
The tournament brought together 278 fighters from Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
