Azerbaijan`s ambassador joins the Ancestors Day holiday in Burgas, Hungary

Budapest, August 1 (AZERTAC). The Turan association functioning in Hungary has initiated holiday celebrations named “Ancestors Day” from July 28-31 in the country`s Burgas city.

Turan Association functions since 1910 and backs the idea of Hungarian nation`s Hun-Turkish origin and makes efforts to restore the appropriate historical heritage, customs and traditions.

Current year`s Ancestors Day festivities are amazing with their historical content. Ancient Turkish tents pitched in the national park of Burgas reminded Turkish traditions, games, contests, horse races. The Shaman music was especially remarkable.

Itinerant anthropological museum of the Association and scientific workshops arranged during the festivities, numerous fairs and cuisine novelties aroused deep interest among the visitors.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Vilayet Guliyev has participated at the celebrations on the invitation of the Turan Association. At the square where numerous Turkish flags were seen, Azerbaijan`s Ambassador spoke of the ancient common ties of the Turkic peoples, about the friendship between the Azerbaijani and Hungarian peoples.
